Went to store in south gate Michigan, parked in front of store in a handicap spot and walked in and clerk says hay chief you can't park there it's for handicap people... I said hay chief I am handicapped go look at my plate...
What gives him the right to tell me I can't park there and assume I don't have a disability...
I went through the store then went back up there and told him he is a *** for saying that and I won't be back.. It just bothers me that he would say something like that to a customer..

Did it ever occur to you that since you have no apparent handicap he was protecting disabled people? I hope you never have to find out what it's like to be paralyzed from the waist down and not have an available space up front.
Lowered yourself to the level of the employee. Right on!
:eek Mental Handicap would be my guess.. :upset
There does seem to wide spreed abuse of HC parking. Good on the employee for asking!
Lets see, you parked your car, walked in the store, walked all over the store and then back out to your car in the handy cap parking spot. I suppose the guy in the wheel chair or no legs or the 350lb heart disabled had to park out where the healthy people park.
Too many have disability tags that use them when they don't need to.
A heart patient that can't walk very far in heat and cold, a very over weight heart patient or the very old are a few good reasons for parking in Handy Cap. Just because you have the right doesn't mean you should always use it.
if you walked in and had no visual handicap, he has the right to ask you.You might have used some one else truck.
Its obvious that if you walked into the store and someone saw you were able; enough to comment on your lack of a mobility disability; you must be a qualfied disabled retard who mis-uses the spaces set aside for those who truley can't walk...And you blame the store? You self-righteous a**h**e!
when someone has a handicap plate or placard it does not mean they can't walk, it means they have some reason for not wanting to or being able to walk a long distance, IE pain when walking or a heart condition or some such condition etc.. yes i get pissed at the people who borrow moms car and park in handicap spaces they are complete jerks...
I don't want to walk very far in the heat or cold either but guess what I DO!! I know many people with heart conditions and they were all told walking was good for them. That some such condition your talking about is usually called laziness!
