Harbor Freight Tools - Beware Harbor Frieght Extended Warranty
Harbor Freight has an extended warranty which mean you have to go thru *** if they make a mistake. I purchased two items on the same receipt and two extended warranties.
The clerk only, it appears, entered one on their system. The other item died, and after a week of being on the phone every day, still they can't figure out I have a warranty. I have sent them a copy of the receipt clearly showing I have a warranty. I have been told it takes 48 hours to research, well that was five days ago.
Then told that again, now after five days they now say it takes five days to research. We will "expedite" which I guess means put in the no return call file. I have been out and out lied too, been told they will work on resolving the problem, told they will call me and so far nothing.
I guess I will have to take them to court, for a $14 item, so far they have waste hours of employees time on the phone and I am certain if I have to take them to court the court costs will cost them more than the little part. Maybe if others have had the same problem they will post it here and we will do a class action suit.
Monetary Loss: $20.

I purchased a 4 ton floor jack,no warranty.I bet I've only used it 5 times,it quit working and I getting ready to take it back and I know there going to tell me to go fly a kite but I got to try.I have a 3 ton that works fine have used many times. This should be interesting. They suck on taking stuff back. They act like your voilating them instead of just taking it back.
